In collaboration with JKR and HTaak Studios, this project marked the bold reintroduction of Korea’s number one beer into the global market. Cass aimed to make a striking visual statement with a brand-new identity — spanning bottles, cans, and outer packaging — that reflected both its legacy and a dynamic, youthful energy.

JKR led the creative charge with a full brand refresh, including strategy, packaging design, and visual identity, while HTaak Studios was entrusted with translating this vision into compelling CGI and motion assets.

Seamless Visual Execution
HTaak Studios focused on building a fully realised digital world for Cass — one that combined crisp realism with stylised energy, aligning with the bold new aesthetic developed by JKR. Photorealism was central to the approach, ensuring the CG products felt natural, tactile, and capable of blending effortlessly with live-action footage or photography. From the sheen of a chilled can to the glint of condensation on glass, every detail was crafted to elevate realism while maintaining creative control.

Essential Tools Utilised:

  • Cinema 4D: For 3D modelling and animation of the full range of packaging.

  • Redshift: Used to render high-quality, photorealistic imagery with an edge.

  • X-Particles: Employed for realistic condensation and dynamic liquid splash simulations.

  • Fused: For smooth integration and management of complex motion pipelines.

  • After Effects: Used for compositing, retiming, and motion editing.

Challenges and Solutions:

  • Packaging Consistency Across Formats: Ensured design details translated seamlessly across bottle, can, and multipack formats in 3D space.

  • Photoreal Integration: Paid close attention to materials, lighting, and camera matching to ensure CG elements could sit naturally alongside photography or live footage.

  • Fluid FX Workflow: Created X-Particles simulations for condensation and splash details, designed to be retimed and edited efficiently — streamlining the animation pipeline.

  • Motion with Attitude: Crafted bold, expressive motion sequences to reflect the energy and confidence of the rebrand.

The final suite of CGI and motion assets helped launch Cass Fresh with confidence and clarity — a bold visual narrative that not only showcased the product range but brought the brand’s new energy to life.
