Miraculous Experience
Miraculous Experience
Miraculous Experience
Working within the established Miraculous IP, the objective was to design and produce the new briefing room experience for the attraction, seamlessly extending the existing world while remaining faithful to the visual identity and personality of the television series.
The project combined AI-assisted animation, motion graphics, multilingual localisation and interactive design to create an immersive experience that could be adapted across different locations, screen formats and languages without compromising quality or consistency.
Beyond the primary character content, the role also involved creating supporting motion assets, production templates and workflow systems that helped shape the wider visitor experience while streamlining future content creation.

Character Animation
The briefing room introduces Plagg and Tikki through newly created animated performances, developed specifically for the experience.
Each character was produced using a hybrid workflow, combining AI-generated motion with traditional animation techniques inside After Effects to refine movement, clean up inconsistencies and composite the final performances.
Every sequence was driven by newly recorded voice performances in English, French and Dutch. Consistent prompting and careful iteration ensured the animation followed the dialogue naturally while preserving the personality established within the original series.
Reference material from the television series played a vital role throughout production. Every floating movement, facial expression, interaction and flight path was carefully analysed to recreate the subtle characteristics that make each Kwami instantly recognisable. Each character performance exceeded four minutes of animation, requiring careful refinement to maintain quality throughout.
DUTCH
HUD Design
Alongside the character animation, a modular HUD interface was designed using Cinema 4D and After Effects.
Every graphic referenced the television series for its shape language, colour palette, movement and pacing, ensuring the interface felt like a natural extension of the Miraculous universe rather than a separate design language.
The HUD was built as a flexible system that could be translated into multiple languages, adapted to different screen layouts and expanded into future installations. Character interactions were integrated directly into the interface, creating a seamless connection between the graphics and animated performances.
Supporting assets were also produced, including looping 3D logo animations, animated infographics, reusable templates and production workflows that improved consistency across the wider experience while making future localisation significantly more efficient.
Essential Tools Utilised:
Cinema 4D
Used to create the HUD system, 3D logo animations and supporting motion graphics. After Effects
Used for compositing, motion graphics, character refinement, animation clean-up, and final delivery.AI-Assisted Animation
Used to establish the initial character performances before refining every sequence through traditional animation techniques.Workflow Development
Created reusable templates and structured production workflows to improve efficiency, maintain consistency and support multilingual localisation.
Challenges and Solutions:
Maintaining Authenticity
Every asset needed to feel like a natural extension of the Miraculous universe. Extensive referencing ensured the characters, graphics and animation language remained faithful to the original series.Designing for an Immersive Space
Unlike traditional screen content, every animation considered viewing distance, visitor flow, screen placement and interaction within the environment. Motion, pacing and composition were carefully balanced to maximise clarity throughout the experience.Creating a Scalable System
The experience was designed to support future locations and additional languages. Modular graphics, reusable templates and structured workflows made expanding the project significantly more efficient.
The Result
The completed briefing room delivers a cohesive introduction to the Miraculous Experience, combining AI-assisted character animation, motion graphics, multilingual content and immersive design into a seamless visitor experience.
Alongside the final animations, the project established scalable production workflows, reusable creative assets and flexible design systems that support future content while maintaining consistency across locations and languages.
