WEAR LA ROSE

In collaboration with O2’s UK agency of record, VCCP London, alongside Girl&Bear and Bernadette, to develop the 'Wear La Rose' campaign Frame. This initiative features a unique piece of art commissioned to celebrate the vital role of fans in rugby.

Drawing inspiration from the grandeur and emotion of French Romanticism, the ornate frame was masterfully designed to embody the spirit and identity of Rugby, O2, and the England Team. This frame is not merely decorative; it is a bold statement piece that integrates diverse branding elements and iconic symbols with precision and artistry.

Using Cinema 4D, Redshift, ZBrush, and Photoshop, the frame was meticulously fashioned to evoke a sense of history and timelessness. The surface bears authentic scratches, weathering, and textures that tell a story of endurance and passion, enhancing the visual impact and drawing viewers into the campaign’s narrative.

At the heart of this creation lies a compelling painting by the award-winning Canadian artist Vincent McIndoe. The artwork pulsates with life, capturing the raw passion and emotional intensity of England's rugby fans. It portrays a vibrant crowd, players and supporters spanning all ages, united in O2-branded rugby shirts and flags. A striking figure of a fan joyfully carrying a young child on his shoulders becomes the emblem of rugby’s unifying power, symbolising the enduring legacy and communal spirit that the sport inspires.
