I had the opportunity to join the team at Craft as an Art Director and 3D Artist, where I was responsible for overseeing lighting, composition, quality, rendering, retouching, and ensuring the creative direction remained in line with the brand's style. I also managed the workflow for the key art of their seasonal motion campaign.
The project encompassed several tools, including Cinema 4D and Redshift. It required a blend of disciplines to achieve the desired outcome.
Key Components
Key Challenge: The core challenge was to create a key art design that could perform across various media, from social platforms to print and digital billboards. This required careful planning and attention to detail to ensure that every visual element – both in the foreground and background – was engaging, without overshadowing the focus on the fragrance—the extended scenes needed to maintain visual interest while supporting the campaign's central message.
Retouching: Enhanced the final visuals through careful adjustments and refinements to achieve a polished look.
Extended Scope: The project also extended to additional scenes from the main motion campaign, where I maintained consistent backdrops and universal composition. This flexibility allowed for easy adaptation of elements across various formats while ensuring that the visual integrity of the campaign remained intact.
Post Production: Managed the final touches in post-production, integrating all elements seamlessly and enhancing the overall visual quality.
By applying a strategic and cohesive approach to lighting, composition, and rendering, I worked to deliver impactful visuals that resonated with the target audience, while preserving Ralph Lauren's timeless elegance.
